Creativity Fit for Royalty

Creativity fit for a Prince and Princess…

When Francis House Children’s hospice asked MaD to create a Commemorative Brochure to Celebrate their 25th Anniversary and the opening of the new £3.5m Francis Lodge we were very excited.

Not least because we had heard whispers that Kensington Palace were sending a VIP or two to mark the auspicious occasion and naturally, our designers were keen to impress.

It wasn’t until we were asked to produce some accompanying high quality gold leaf invitations and a brass unveiling plaque that all was revealed. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, no less were to unveil our plaque on Friday October 14th. I don’t think we’ve ever scrutinised a proof so many times!

Prince William was to follow in his mother’s footsteps by officially opening the lodge 25 years to the month after Diana had opened the hospice itself in 1991. A very poignant event that we were honoured to commemorate.

“MaD created invitations, a brass unveiling plaque and a wonderful brochure which chronicled the last 25 years. Everyone was delighted with the brochure which their Royal Highnesses took away with them”.
